Who is Benjamin Bruce, anyway?

I am a member of the church of Christ, currently a student at Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee. I am a Texan of French and English ancestry, and I have many wide and varying interests, including but not limited to linguistics, nature, web design, literature, composing music, and collecting things (coins, stamps, license plates, mutant plasticware, etc.). Despite all my interests, my goal in life is to serve God and keep His commandments, always keeping heaven in view as I try to bring others with me. I know that often I don't live up to this, but I am continually striving to be pleasing to God in everything.

Even though I don't really have “a job”, I do make a bit of money making websites for various people. Although my income is currently small, I can proudly say “I'm debt free!” (See Dave Ramsey for more information.)
